CryptoToolkit is built on a simple principle: every person deserves access to the same quality of financial calculation that professionals use — for free, transparently, and without a paywall. Our calculators are engineered using industry-standard formulas, real-time market data, and publicly verifiable methodologies. We believe informed decisions start with accurate numbers, and we have built this platform to give you exactly that. At the same time, numbers alone do not replace the judgment of a qualified professional who understands your full financial picture. Please read this disclaimer carefully before acting on any result produced by this site.
Every calculator on CryptoToolkit is purpose-built to produce mathematically accurate results based on the inputs you provide and the data sources we integrate. Each tool uses the same core formulas relied upon by professional traders, financial analysts, and tax practitioners — including position sizing models sourced from Van Tharp, compound interest formulas consistent with CFA Institute standards, US federal tax brackets from IRS Rev. Proc. 2025-32, UK CGT rates from HMRC Finance Act 2024 guidance, and live price data from Binance, CoinGecko, DexScreener, and CoinPaprika. The results you receive are not guesses — they are the direct mathematical output of those inputs and formulas. Each calculator also includes a fully transparent Methodology section disclosing every formula used, every assumption made, and every data source referenced, so you can verify the results independently.
While our calculators are designed to produce accurate results, all content on CryptoToolkit — including calculator outputs, articles, and commentary — is provided for educational and informational purposes only. The results are estimates based on the data and inputs available at the time of calculation. They do not constitute financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, legal advice, or any other form of professional advice. CryptoToolkit is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, tax professional, or legal practitioner in any jurisdiction. No output from this site should be treated as a personalised recommendation or a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who understands your complete financial situation.
The Crypto Tax Estimator uses 2026 IRS federal tax brackets (per Rev. Proc. 2025-32) for US users and 2026/27 HMRC Capital Gains Tax rates (per Finance Act 2024) for UK users. The calculator correctly models short-term and long-term capital gains treatment, stacks gains on top of ordinary income to determine the applicable bracket, applies the Net Investment Income Tax (NIIT) of 3.8% under IRC §1411 where applicable, and accounts for filing status (single, married filing jointly, head of household) for US calculations and the annual exempt amount for UK calculations. These are the same mechanics used by professional tax software. However, the calculator does not account for state or local taxes, the alternative minimum tax, specific deductions, credits, tax-loss harvesting strategies, wash sale rules as applied to crypto, or your individual circumstances. Tax law is complex and changes frequently. Always consult a licensed CPA, tax attorney, or qualified tax adviser before filing your return or making decisions based on estimated tax liability.
Cryptocurrency is a high-risk asset class. The value of any cryptocurrency can fall to zero. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Tools such as the Crypto Profit Calculator, DCA Calculator, Staking Rewards Calculator, and What-If Calculator produce projections based on assumed growth rates, APY figures, and historical price data that may not be repeated or sustained. Staking rewards are subject to protocol changes, validator slashing, and market conditions. DCA projections assume consistent periodic investment and a specific growth rate that cannot be guaranteed. The Rug Pull Survival Calculator models hypothetical recovery scenarios using compound growth assumptions that represent neither a prediction nor a guarantee of any outcome. Always invest only what you can afford to lose entirely.
The Crypto Position Size Calculator applies industry-standard risk management formulas including the fixed-percentage risk model and the Kelly Criterion, consistent with methodologies described by Van Tharp and widely used in professional trading. The mathematical outputs are accurate given the inputs provided. However, position sizing and risk management are only one component of a complete trading strategy. Market conditions, liquidity, slippage, exchange-specific margin requirements, and individual risk tolerance all affect real-world outcomes in ways this calculator cannot model. The use of leverage — particularly at levels of 10× or above — significantly amplifies both potential gains and the risk of total loss of your margin deposit. Liquidation risk indicators shown in the calculator are informational estimates only. Never use leverage without fully understanding the mechanics and risks involved, and never risk capital you cannot afford to lose.
Live prices are sourced in real time from Binance, CoinGecko, DexScreener, and CoinPaprika using a waterfall fallback system designed to maximise accuracy and availability. Prices may be subject to brief caching delays of up to 60 seconds under normal conditions. Historical prices used in tools such as the Crypto Regret Calculator and DCA Calculator are sourced from CoinGecko and Binance historical endpoints. For dates where live historical data is unavailable, linearly interpolated static price anchors are used as a fallback; these are clearly disclosed in each calculator's Methodology section. Price data should always be independently verified on your chosen exchange before executing any transaction.
The Swap Cost Calculator estimates received amounts and fee costs based on indicative platform fee rates and network fee assumptions at the time of calculation. Actual fees, exchange rates, slippage, and received amounts will vary depending on the exchange used, network congestion, order book depth, and liquidity conditions at the time of execution. CryptoToolkit is not responsible for any discrepancy between estimated and actual swap outcomes. Always confirm the final terms of any swap directly with the exchange or protocol before proceeding.
Every calculator on this site includes a Methodology section that discloses the exact formulas applied, the assumptions embedded in the calculation, the data sources used, and the known limitations of the model. These disclosures are provided so that you can understand precisely how your result was derived and verify it independently. The presence of a methodology disclosure reflects our commitment to transparency and does not imply that the result is free from error or suitable for any specific purpose. If you identify an error in any formula or data source, please contact us so we can correct it promptly.

Market conditions, regulatory changes, API data errors, and the inherent complexity of individual financial situations mean that no calculator can account for every variable. CryptoToolkit is designed to give you a powerful, accurate, and transparent starting point for understanding your crypto finances. Our calculators can tell you what the numbers say — but a licensed financial adviser, CPA, tax attorney, or investment professional can tell you what those numbers mean for your specific situation, goals, and legal obligations. We strongly encourage you to use the outputs from this site as one informed input among many, and to seek professional guidance before making significant financial decisions.
